Clinical safety

A practice tool, with clear boundaries.

The Practice Room is designed for simulated skills practice. It is not therapy, supervision, diagnosis, assessment, or an emergency service.

01

Use simulated material

Use the built-in fictional clients or create a non-identifying practice brief. Never enter a real client's name, contact details, case notes, or information that could identify them.

  • Keep confidential clinical material out of the app
  • Use fictional or fully de-identified examples
  • Follow your course, placement, and professional policies
02

Keep human oversight

AI responses and feedback can be incomplete, inaccurate, or poorly judged. Treat them as prompts for reflection, then use a qualified tutor or supervisor for clinical interpretation.

  • Do not treat a score as evidence of competence
  • Do not use feedback to make real clinical decisions
  • Escalate uncertainty, safeguarding, and risk to a human
03

Not for crisis or care

The app does not provide mental-health care and must not be used by someone seeking support for themselves. In an emergency, contact local emergency services or an appropriate crisis service.

04

Report problems

If a simulated client or feedback response is unsafe, discriminatory, misleading, or otherwise concerning, stop the session and contact support@logicleapit.co.uk with the scenario name and what happened.

Build confidence before the next real session.

Start with a simulated client, practise the conversation, then review what you want to try next.
