Core counselling moments
Practise silence, empathy, open questions, challenge, boundaries, endings, rupture, and repair with clients who do not always make the next step obvious.
Practice scenarios
Each simulated client has a consistent history, communication style, defences, and capacity for trust. The point is not to find a perfect line. It is to notice the relationship you are creating.
Practise silence, empathy, open questions, challenge, boundaries, endings, rupture, and repair with clients who do not always make the next step obvious.
Work with guardedness, intellectualisation, anxiety, grief, shame, indecision, relationship strain, emotional restriction, and other common early-session dynamics.
Start with clearer openings, then move toward clients who change topic, ask for advice, minimise, withdraw, charm, or test whether you can tolerate the room.
Scenarios are simulations. Do not enter a real client's name, identifying details, case notes, or confidential material. Build the skill without moving real clinical data into the app.
Start with a simulated client, practise the conversation, then review what you want to try next.
